- How does the Paylist QuickBooks integration work?
- You authorise Paylist to connect to your QuickBooks company using Intuit's secure OAuth sign-in. Once connected, verified supplier bank details from Paylist are kept in sync with your QuickBooks contacts, so you never have to re-key them by hand.
- Does it update my QuickBooks contacts automatically?
- Yes. When a supplier updates their verified bank details on Paylist, the matching record in your connected QuickBooks company is updated for you, so your records stay current.
- Can I sync employees or payroll to QuickBooks?
- Not via QuickBooks — its API can't store employee bank details or National Insurance numbers, so the QuickBooks integration covers supplier bank details only. Employee payroll sync is available with Xero.
- Is the QuickBooks integration secure?
- Connections use Intuit's official OAuth flow, so Paylist never sees your QuickBooks password. Bank details on Paylist are encrypted with per-row keys, and you can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from your dashboard.
